A one-of-one cropped top and longline shorts set constructed from textile scraps generated through other Neuthread projects and donated leather offcuts from Jaguar Land Rover vehicles. Designed to make considered use of every available material, each remnant becomes part of the garment rather than being discarded.

Nothing donated should go to waste.

This one-of-one two-piece set is made from textile scraps produced during the creation of other Neuthread garments. Pieces that were too small or irregular for conventional production have been brought together through layered panels, exposed edges and sculptural detailing, helping prevent valuable material from being discarded or ending up in landfill.

The grey woven base is contrasted with repurposed denim fragments and genuine leather offcuts donated by Jaguar Land Rover. Originally produced for car interiors, the leather has been redirected into curved panels, narrow strips and structural details that give the outfit its distinctive streetwear edge.

The cropped top features a wide neckline, relaxed elbow-length sleeves, an adjustable gathered hem and asymmetric denim and leather detailing. It is paired with high-waisted, longline shorts cut with a loose, untailored silhouette. D-ring fastenings, wraparound waistband details and hanging textile strips add movement while celebrating the original shapes and textures of the materials.

Rather than disguising the garments’ origins, visible stitching, raw denim edges and contrasting panels reveal how each component has been used. Every placement is determined by the materials available, making this an individual piece that cannot be reproduced in exactly the same way.
